She thinks I love the garden...(A Drabble)

She is probably in the rose garden.  I wish I was with her there.
In the garden, everywhere I love I see my love.  The yellow roses that remind me of the simple yellow dress she wore the first time we meet.  The pale cream rose that perfectly matches her soft skin.  The pinks that remind me of the color that brushes her sweet checks.
And the red ... Ah the red that one is the shade of her soft lips.  That is what I miss the most.
She thinks I love the roses ...But it's the gardener that I love.

This drabble is based on a painting by the American artist George C. Lambdin (1830-1896).  It is the second in a series of stories.  I hope you enjoy it.
A drabble is a story told in exactly 100 words.
